Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Orange Juice freshly squeezed or good-quality bottled
  • 1 tablespoon Orange Marmalade
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt plus more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Ginger Powder
  • Pinch of Crushed Red Pepper

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a small jar with a tight-fitting lid or a large bowl.
  • If using a jar: Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until the dressing is well combined and emulsified.
  • If using a bowl: Add all the ingredients except the olive oil, then pour it in slowly while whisking to help emulsify the dressing.
  • Taste and adjust the salt or seasoning as needed. As a reference, we did not add additional salt to ours.
  • Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for later use. Shake or whisk well before each use.

Notes

  • For best flavor, use fresh orange juice, but good-quality bottled juice works if fresh oranges aren’t available.
  • Using a jar to shake the dressing is the easiest and quickest way to emulsify the ingredients. Mason jars work great for this.
